The Gibran National Committee held in collaboration with the Danish Embassy to Lebanon a film festival at the Balamand University entitled "Danish Film Days".
At the opening of the "Danish Film Days" both Dr. Tarek Chidiac President of the GNC and H. E. Mr. Jan Top Christensen the Ambassador of the Danish Embassy presented their remarks in the presence of media figures, professors and students from universities of Northern Lebanon.
The screening program included, motion pictures short and regular length movies / animated cartoons of several topics in drama, action etc.
The screening through the days of the event was attended by students from numerous universities accompanied by their teachers.
In addition, students of majors related to movie making were called by their professors to join debates circles and to present written reports.
