Under the patronage of H. E. Mr. Raymond Arayji, Minister of Culture in Lebanon and in collaboration with the Gibran National Committee and “Zaki Nassif Music Program”, the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra played the 'Symphony Colors” a Symphonic Arabesque composed by Jamal Aboul Hosn under the baton of Maestro Fouad Fakhouri at the crypt of Saint Joseph Church – Beirut.
To enter the church, the attendees had to pass through the alleys, where Jamal Aboul Hosn’s beautiful original paintings were exposed.
The press conference that preceded the concert, was presented by journalist Hala Al-Murr.
The concert involved creative musical performance, blended with ethnic, Arabic and modern elements, arranged with a new atmospheric feel of sound, synchronized to visual images of arts, exotic nature, graphics and 3D computer animation, accompanied by impressive lighting, laser and video art. Poetry, voices and dances.
The Symphony included a song for female voices singing a poem for Gibran Khalil Gibran about the desire for freedom, innocence, beauty, and happiness.
It is worth mentioning that preceding to the “Symphonic Colors “album, the “Universal Harmony” album of Jamal Aboul Hosn was launched at the UNESCO in Paris, the Barkley Theatre in California USA, and in Gibran Museum in Lebanon.
